About Me
   My name is Bethany, I’m 35 and I live in Kennett, Missouri. I have three kids, Savannah (Savvy), Peyton, Dustin and three pets I also consider my kids. They are, a dog named Bentley Poopie ScooberTug Johnson, a cat named Possum and a kitten named BearCub. I raise all these delinquents with my husband of eleven years, Tyler. I am currently taking classes towards earning my Bachelor's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and eventually, my Doctoral in Behavioral Science. 

   I recently lost my mother on February 18, 2022, the day after my daughter's birthday. The last time we saw her was on January 7th, my birthday, and she wasn't even sick. She went home, caught Covid and died a month later. It was sudden, unexpected and a lot of me died with her. On the inside, I am not okay at all, but on the outside,I'm throwing myself into my schoolwork and trying to make something out of this graphic design hobby I have had for a while.

    Graphic design has been a hobby of mine for the past, I would say at least, 20 years. I started with editing photos and creating my kids’ party invitations to save money and turned out I loved it. I never knew I could actually make a living off it. So, I decided, since I’m always at home either schooling my kids or schooling myself, if I am going to spend my spare time doing graphic design projects, they may as well be real and bringing in some money. 
So, there’s my experience, I guess. I’ve never had a designer job or been paid but I have been practicing this trade for over twenty years. Hopefully that counts for something.
